Questions? Good. Here Are The Honest Answers.
You get a clear picture of your home's energy future. We turn your real energy data into an easy-to-understand estimate of what your electricity could cost over the next 10 years — and show you what could change that number.
Yes. Your LastBill assessment is free. We believe you should be able to understand your energy costs and your options before deciding whether to spend a dollar on a new system. There's no obligation and no pressure to buy anything.
We don't start with a solar system. We start with your energy. We look at what your home actually uses, what you're likely to spend over the next 10 years, and what combination of solar, battery and smarter energy use could change that. If the numbers make sense, we'll help you take the next step.
That's still a win. You'll know you've made the right call for your home, with a clear understanding of your energy costs and what could change in the future. When the time is right, LastBill will help you recognise it.
You'll have a clear picture of where you stand and what your options look like. If there's a better way to manage your energy costs, you can explore it with confidence. And if you want to take the next step, we'll help connect you with the right people to make it happen.
No — and we never will be. We don't sell systems, we don't install them and we don't quote your job ourselves. We read your real energy data, work out what your home actually needs, and write that up as a brief. If the numbers stack up and you want a price, we introduce you to our South East Queensland installation partner and check their quote against that brief before you see it. We hold your numbers and stay on your side of the table.
Not out of the blue. We don't even ask for a phone number to show your estimate and report. When you want a price, you arrange the quote in your dashboard — open Your Proposal, tick the quote-sharing terms, and send the brief. We take that to our South East Queensland installation partner, check their quote against your numbers, and only then show it to you. Book a call if you want one. Quoting and calling are always your call.
Great — you've already made the first move. Our advanced energy platform will show you how your setup is performing and what would move the needle next — a battery, a better tariff or a VPP. It's all built from what your system is actually doing.
Depending on your situation, your instant estimate will let you know — it's built from your actual bill, not a sales pitch. When the numbers stack up, you'll see it clearly, and we'll show you what to do next.
It's the right question and you should ask it of anyone in this industry, so here's the plain version. We work with one installation partner in South East Queensland, and they pay us only if a job goes ahead. What keeps us honest is this: your report is written from your bill before any installer is involved, it's yours to keep, and you're free to take it to any installer you like — plenty of people do, and that's fine by us. Our report will also tell you to wait, or to fix your tariff first, when that's the right answer. We'd rather lose a job than put you into the wrong one, and if we ever suggest something you can't see the reason for, ask and we'll show you the working.
Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discounts installed battery capacity, with the full rate applying up to 14 kWh per home — and the discount steps down on a set schedule until the program ends in 2030. Your report shows what the current rate is worth on a battery sized for your actual usage.
